PRICING
COST OF SESSIONS
Individual therapy sessions are $190 per session. Rates may vary based on income, availability, and appointment type. A limited number of reduced-fee spots may also be available for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please reach out if cost may be a barrier to beginning therapy.
OUT OF NETWORK
While I am not an in-network insurance provider, many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits that may reimburse you for a portion of your therapy costs.
Before beginning, I recommend contacting your insurance provider and asking:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
What is my coinsurance after meeting my deductible?
How much will my plan reimburse for each therapy session?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered each year?
Is any preauthorization or referral required?
If you choose to use out-of-network benefits, you will pay for your session at the time of service and can then submit documentation to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
BENEFITS OF OUT OF POCKET
Choosing to pay out of pocket can offer greater privacy, flexibility, and autonomy in your therapy. Because treatment is not being billed directly through insurance, decisions about the focus, length, and frequency of our work can remain centered around what feels most supportive for you rather than what an insurance plan determines is medically necessary.
QUESTIONS
I know conversations around finances can sometimes feel uncomfortable, especially when you’re already navigating the vulnerability of beginning therapy. Questions about cost, sliding-scale availability, and out-of-network benefits are always welcome. We can talk through any financial questions during your free curiosity call and explore what options might be available. My hope is that you can make a decision that feels supportive and sustainable for you.
