About Jason
If you've found yourself here, welcome.
Whether you are navigating grief, a life transition, relationship changes, questions around identity, or simply feel like you've lost touch with yourself somewhere along the way, I'm really glad you're here. Beginning the search for a therapist can feel overwhelming, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the courage it takes to say yes to yourself in this way. My hope is to help you discover whether this feels like the right space for you, wherever you find yourself today.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: we all have the capacity for healing already within us. Yet through the experiences, losses, relationships, and stories we carry, we can begin to forget. Not only what is true, but who we are at our core—who we have been all along. To me, therapy isn't about becoming someone new. It's about finding your way back Home with Self.
Because of that, I approach therapy from a humanistic and integrative perspective, believing that every person deserves to be met exactly where they are. There is no version of you that has to be "fixed" before you walk through the door. This work isn't about having all the answers. It's about creating enough safety for the questions to emerge, trusting that, together, we'll begin making sense of them.
Over the last decade, I've had the privilege of entering many different mental health spaces—as a support person, as a clinician, and perhaps most importantly, as a client myself. I believe we're unable to guide others to places we haven't been willing to go ourselves. My own journey has included growing up as a gay man in a small rural Midwestern town, navigating years of identity development, and walking through faith deconstruction and spiritual reconciliation after spending much of my young adulthood in ministry. None of those experiences were easy, but they shaped the therapist I am today. They taught me the importance of having a space where every question is welcome, where nothing needs to be hidden, and where healing doesn't require pretending to be someone you're not.
I want therapy to be a place where you can truly exhale.
A place where you don't have to hold it all together.
A place where you can slow down enough to hear yourself again.
Whether we're sitting with grief, exploring identity, navigating change, or simply making room for whatever this season of life is asking of you, my hope is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.
It is a privilege to do this work. My hope is that our time together helps you discover new ways of being in the world, but ultimately, helps you find your way back Home with Self.
